Chris is the Senior Portfolio Manager of the Small Buyout Strategies Fund of Funds, where he also serves on its Investment Committee. He is also on the Investment Committees of the Five Points Capital’s Private Equity and Private Credit Strategies Funds. Chris has been involved in the private equity industry for over 22 years. Prior to joining Five Points Capital in 1997, Chris spent most of his career focusing on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and general corporate strategy. He began his career with Kidder, Peabody & Company in their New York office. Subsequently, he worked with Ernst & Young Corporate Finance in their Atlanta office. Finally, Chris spent a short period of time as the Chief Financial Officer of Mega Force, Inc., a North Carolina-based staffing company, whereby he participated in growing it from $65 million of revenue to over $200 million of revenue.
Outside of work, Chris serves on the Board of the Center for the Creative Economy and is also active in the United Way of Winston Salem.
Chris received an MBA with distinction from the Wharton School of Business, graduating as a Palmer Scholar, and received a BS in Mathematics from Davidson College, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
