Prior to joining Five Points Capital in 2019, Carlie worked at the The Orr Group, a boutique investment bank focused on small to lower middle market companies. Previously, Carlie was an Investment Manager in the Private Investments Group of Duke Management Company (DUMAC), manager of the Duke University Endowment, where she was a member of a three-person team responsible for approximately $2.0 billion in private fund commitments. Prior to joining DUMAC, Carlie was an Associate with Bear Stearns Merchant Banking Partners in New York and began her career in corporate banking at First Union Securities. Carlie is a Principal and dedicated investment team member of the Small Buyout Strategies platform at Five Points. She is responsible for investment sourcing, manager research, monitoring and relationship development of private equity fund managers for Five Points and is a member of the Small Buyout Strategies Investment Committee. Her responsibilities also include the identification, evaluation and selection of prospective managers for new fund commitments and co-investments.
Carlie received an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, and a BA from UNC Chapel Hill.
