Scott is a Partner of Five Points Capital and member of the Investment Committee. Prior to joining Five Points Capital in 2005, Scott was an investment banker in the Media and Communications Corporate Finance Coverage group at Wachovia Securities (now Wells Fargo Securities), where he provided leveraged and equity capital raising and merger and acquisition advisory services to both public and private companies. Prior to Wachovia Securities, he worked for GE Capital and GE Plastics in various corporate finance and business development capacities.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, and is an active member of his church, serving in various leadership capacities, including leading a self-reliance initiative directed at helping individuals improve job prospects, gain additional education, start and grow businesses and better manage their personal finances. He is a Seattle native and long-time North Carolina transplant who maintains his allegiances to all things Seattle sports but prefers the warmth and sun of the Carolinas. Scott is an avid skier and water sports enthusiast and attempts to play golf.
Scott received his MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Brigham Young University.
